Litchi (Lychee)
Mehadrin’s Litchi has a fragrant, sweet and juicy skin. An exotic fruit of the family Sapindaceae, the Litchi is a small, aromatic, pulpy fruit in a thin, red brittle shell, with white translucent flesh and a single seed. The flesh is rich in vitamins C, Vitamin B and Phosphorous and the Israeli Litchi ripens between July and August.
Sharon Fruit
Mehadrin’s Sharon Fruit is characterized by its deliciously high sugar content and is eaten like an apple. An exotic fruit, more commonly known as the Persimmon, the Sharon fruit has an orange-red hue and distinct flavor and texture. The Sharon fruit ripens in October or November, and can be kept in cold storage well into February.
